Business challenges

Founded in 1981, Beyonics is one of the leading precision parts manufacturers in Southeast Asia, focusing on clients in the automotive, healthcare, and technology industries. With its headquarters in Singapore, Beyonics has a combined workforce of over 5,000 working across five factories in Singapore, China, Malaysia, and Thailand.

As Beyonics expanded over the years through mergers and acquisitions, the company had multiple HCM, CRM, and other applications, processes, and procedures that made it difficult for the business to have a holistic view required for insights and decision-making. These on-premises applications needed to be maintained by IT and were difficult to access over VPN.

Following a careful analysis, Beyonics decided to consolidate and standardize its business processes and systems to better use real-time insights into its financial, operational, and competitive positions.

Oracle provided a comprehensive project plan while using best practices and implementation methodology. We are one of the first manufacturers in Asia to go live with an end-to-end Oracle Cloud solution comprising both applications and infrastructure on a single instance and single data model. Oracle Consulting’s trusted partnership ensured that the project was completed on time and achieved needed business outcomes.

Why Beyonics chose Oracle

Beyonics chose to move to Oracle Cloud due to its best practices, implementation methodology, and ability to provide an integrated platform with offerings across multiple business areas. Beyonics selected Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications including ERP, EPM, SCM, HCM, and CX. The company also chose Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Analytics Cloud, and Oracle Autonomous Database to unify data for real-time insights and to increase agility for faster response to demand.

Results

By migrating to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Autonomous Data Warehouse, Beyonics gained a global platform that operates with a single view of data across the organization, streamlining processes, increasing efficiency, productivity, and profitability. Beyonics is now able to access this centralized platform using any device anywhere, anytime.

Beyonics executives gained a single view of data, reports, and cross-functional KPIs with multiple degrees of granularity for faster decision-making by using Oracle Analytics Cloud, which gathers data from Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM. Additionally, online cascading of KPIs and online progress tracking has enabled managers and employees to perform in a more efficient manner. For example, customer inventory and availability enabled more intelligent buying, which reduced costs and increased financial visibility.

Using Oracle CX, Beyonics now tracks and manages sales pipeline effectively. With Oracle HCM, both employees and managers have a seamless, unified experience with integrated workflows, which have reduced errors from manual data input and also shortened approval times.

By having a holistic view of its digital transformation journey, Beyonics now has the potential for accelerate integration with its Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Industry 4.0 framework.

Partners

Beyonics worked with Oracle Consulting to establish the parameters for the entire cloud implementation journey. The project's success was driven by the dedication and commitment from the Oracle Consulting team, which implemented the project successfully and on time.
