We express our deep gratitude to the Oracle Cloud team, particularly the local Ukrainian team, for their openness, professionalism, and readiness to help. Their inspiration and belief in the product they developed are conveyed through the high standards of service they provide.

Ranked third in assets among Ukrainian banks, Pivdenny Bank ran its core applications on VMware inside its two on-premises data centers. When the war with Russia started, the bank began replicating its data and applications outside of the country. After an extensive review of the market, bank leaders decided that Oracle Cloud VMware Solution was the only offering that could provide full administrative control. With Oracle Cloud VMware Solution, the bank applied configuration settings, control patches, and updates on its own schedule to match existing on-premises policies. Today, 95% of its business services are stored and run in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), which serves as the bank’s additional data center outside of Ukraine. The bank migrated its on-premises VMware estates in a few weeks, integrating them successfully with on-premises resources.
